Clinical Supervision using ACT
I offer clinical supervision for mental health professionals seeking to deepen their therapeutic practice with a focus on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Supervision sessions are grounded in the core principles of ACT, with a strong emphasis on therapist development, psychological flexibility, and values-based practice. Whether you're new to ACT or looking to refine your skills, supervision provides a supportive space to explore clinical challenges, enhance your use of ACT processes, and grow both personally and professionally.
What to Expect in ACT-Based Supervision:
- A collaborative and experiential approach to learning
- Focus on developing psychological flexibility — both in your clients and yourself
- Case formulation and intervention strategies consistent with the ACT model
- Integration of functional contextual thinking and process-based therapy
- Exploration of values as a therapist and how they guide your work
I welcome supervisees from a range of professional backgrounds, including psychologists, social workers, counsellors, and mental health workers. Sessions are available in person or online.
If you're interested in ACT-informed supervision that supports both clinical effectiveness and therapist wellbeing, feel free to get in touch.
